**Division** **of** **a** **line** **seg****m****en****t ****in** **a** **given** **ra****tio (****I****n****t****e****r****n****a****ll****y****)****:** The division of a line segment in a given ratio is based on the Basic Proportionality Theorem.

**C****o****n****s****t****r****u****c****t****i****o****n** **of** **a** **Triangle** **si****m****ilar** **to a given triangle**: By the knowledge of similar triangles and division of a line segment in a given ratio, we can construct a triangle similar to a given triangle.

**C****o****n****s****t****r****u****c****t****i****o****n** **of** **Tangen****ts ****to a circle**: By the knowledge of tangents to a circle (learnt in chapter 'Circles'), we can construct the tangents to the circle.

Construction should be neat and clean and as per scale given in question. Steps of construction should be provided only to those questions where it is

mentioned.
